It looks like that might be it for the season...

Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to fit in another ski trip this season. I know there are still a few weeks left, and we *might* be able to sneak away.

Looking back, I don't regret any of it. I wish we had been able to go more frequently than we did, but in the words of my mother, "C'est la vie!" (that's life en francais).

We will be able to reuse her skis next year, and I'll likely re-sell her boots in order to purchase new ones. She'll be in school to next year too, so new, high quality snow gear will serve a dual purpose.

I promise I'll be back in the fall, when the skiing bug bites again. Thanks to my 3 or4 faithful readers and responders! You've been great!

Best Wishes,
Laura

p.s. I won't rule out one final post for this season if we manage to make it to Vermont in the next few weeks!

Ok, so a little late in seeing your blog, but my wife and I are going to make a go at this. You blog has helped. I've been doing the research on gear, boots, etc. to see what's available and I think since you've done the groundwork we'll just get what you got.
Thanks, and we'll read more,

Hi -

Well, my husband and son went their last day of the season yesterday. I posted some video on my blog if you want to check it out.

They had a ton of fun and can't wait until next year. We'll have to keep up with you guys next year too.

Enjoy your summer!

Hey,

Here you got another reader. I am wondering that whether you have considered the option of renting the ski, boots and helmet for your toddler. Is it a concern for price (if you are going to ski many days), is it because small sizes are not available in ski resort, or is it because the rental ones are not very comfortable?

Our family has a two years old toddler (wearing exactly 3T clothes). I have got her all clothes but was planning just to rent the gears. We probably would just go once this winter for 6 days of ski.
